WIN YOUR OWN ROOM Giveaway – Official Terms & Conditions
The “WIN YOUR OWN ROOM” Giveaway (the “Promotion”) is organized by HUBR Student Housing S.L., NIF B-87635033, with its registered office at Calle Don Ramon de la Cruz 37, 28001 Madrid (the “Organizer”).
The Promotion is intended solely for promotional purposes in connection with bookings at Xior Paseo de Gracia, located at Carrer de Sèneca 24–26, Gràcia, 08006 Barcelona, Spain.
Participation in the Promotion constitutes full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
The Promotion commences on 16 July 2026 at 00:00 CEST and closes on 16 August 2026 at 23:59 CEST (the “Promotion Period”).
Only eligible bookings completed during the Promotion Period will be entered into the Promotion.
The Promotion is open to individuals who:
Employees of the Organizer, its affiliated companies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
Only bookings for Double to Share rooms (as defined in the booking platform) are eligible to participate in the Promotion. Bookings for any other room type are not eligible.
The Organizer reserves the right to request proof of eligibility at any time.
Participation is automatic.
No separate registration or entry form is required.
Each confirmed eligible booking constitutes one (1) entry into the Promotion.
No additional payment, purchase or participation fee is required to enter the Promotion beyond the eligible accommodation booking.
Bookings that are cancelled, fraudulent, incomplete, duplicated or otherwise invalid before the draw takes place shall not be eligible.
Each participant may win only one prize.
Two (2) winners will each receive an upgrade from their booked Double to Share room to exclusive individual occupancy at Xior Paseo de Gracia for the 2026/2027 Academic Year (commencing September 2026) for the entire duration of their accommodation agreement.
The prize:
The prize includes only the room occupancy upgrade. All other contractual obligations under the accommodation agreement remain unchanged. The exact room allocation shall be determined by the Organizer.
The prize does not entitle the winner to reimbursement of any accommodation fees or other amounts already paid to the Organizer.
The prize may constitute taxable income for the winner under applicable tax legislation.
The Organizer shall comply with any tax withholding, tax prepayment (ingreso a cuenta), reporting and other tax obligations imposed on it by applicable law in connection with the Promotion.
The Organizer will assume the cost of any mandatory ingreso a cuenta required by Spanish tax law and will not seek reimbursement of such amount from the winner.
The winner shall remain responsible for complying with any personal tax obligations arising from the acceptance of the prize under the applicable tax legislation.
Following the end of the Promotion Period, the Organizer will prepare a list of all eligible entries.
The winners will be selected by means of a random draw conducted using an impartial random selection method.
The draw will take place on or before 21 August 2026.
Two (2) winners will be selected. In addition, up to two (2) reserve winners may be drawn in the order in which they are selected.
Reserve winners will only receive the prize if an original winner:
The Organizer will retain a record of the eligible entries and the results of the draw for evidentiary purposes.
The Organizer’s decision regarding the outcome of the draw shall be final.
The winners will be contacted using the email address and/or telephone number provided during the booking process.
Each winner must confirm acceptance of the prize within seven (7) calendar days following the first notification.
If a winner does not respond within this period, declines the prize, or is otherwise ineligible, the Organizer may award the prize to the next reserve winner.
The prize shall automatically be forfeited if:
No compensation shall be payable in the event of forfeiture.
The prize shall remain valid only for the duration of the original accommodation agreement.
The Organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the Promotion where strictly necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including force majeure, evidence of fraud, material technical failures preventing the proper conduct of the draw, or mandatory legal or regulatory requirements. Any such modification, suspension or cancellation shall be proportionate to the circumstances giving rise to it and shall not affect rights already acquired by participants.
Any material changes will be communicated through the same communication channels used to promote the Promotion.
The Organizer reserves the right to exclude any participant who:

The Organizer shall be liable in accordance with applicable law, including mandatory consumer protection legislation. Without prejudice to the foregoing, the Organizer shall not be held responsible for:
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall exclude or limit the Organizer’s liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law, including, without limitation, the mandatory rights afforded to consumers and users under the Spanish General Consumer Protection Act (Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007).

Unless prohibited by law, the winners agree that the Organizer may publish their first name and country of residence for the purpose of announcing the results of the Promotion.
No additional compensation shall be payable.
This Promotion shall be governed by the laws of Spain.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Promotion shall be subject to the jurisdiction determined under the applicable Spanish procedural rules.In the event of any discrepancy or conflict between the English and Spanish versions of these Terms & Conditions, the Spanish version shall prevail.
